Prior to Katherine’s personal branding session, we spent time really thinking about what she embodies and cares about when she is teaching in the classroom and when she is advocating for students in other spaces. What all this translated to in terms of Katherine’s portraits was a lovely variety: some portraits feel warm and welcoming and casual, others are poised and elegant, some capture her grounded and caring side, others represent her as an advocate and feel really capable and powerful.

At the time of her personal branding photoshoot, Megan was in a holistic masters program to be an integrative health coach and looking for portraits that would set the stage for her next steps.

Lydia initially contacted me about simple headshots for her performance career and was open and excited when I shared how I approach them in an intentional, customized way with full personal branding sessions.

Linnea is a therapist and when we started chatting about personal branding photography, she wanted to make sure that the photos conveyed that she was a real person. She wanted her warmth and kindness to reach out of the photo. She wanted folks who looked at her brand photos to feel a sense of the care she extends to each client.

While I mostly photograph boudoir sessions in my studio, it’s also a lovely place for personal branding photos and headshots, so when Erin reached out to me to capture some photos for her work as a musician and teacher I was excited to help her create her vision.
