“G’s” grounded, confident, soulful boudoir session
“G” came to do a boudoir session with me (her second, actually!) after navigating a tough season of life. She shared with me that she’d recently experienced some health concerns that left her feeling uncertain and vulnerable. When she booked her boudoir session with me, she said she’d been working hard to grow into a better place with her health concerns. She shared that she felt a really deep sense of gratitude for the health she’d gained and the way her body was taking care of itself.
With that said, “G’s” boudoir session was both deeply meaningful and so much fun! “G” brought such a wonderful vision into this session and was so intentional with her ideas and inspiration. From the outfits and the color palette she picked to the mood and the energy she wanted her pictures to have, it all felt very genuine to her.
I’m so grateful that “G” felt comfortable sharing a few anonymous portraits on the blog! I’m always delighted when clients are comfortable sharing their portraits, and I also totally understand if they prefer not to share them; everybody’s level of comfort is different. Sometimes an in-between option feels best to the client, like how “G” chose to share just a few anonymous portraits -- and that’s fantastic too!
“G’s” boudoir portraits
“G,” I’m so glad we got to work together a second time! It’s always such a joy to spend time with you, and it’s an honor to document this season of life and the way you’re growing through it. Thank you so much for trusting me with your portraits -- I loved spending the day together creating them!
