Cortneigh’s creative, relaxed, empowered boudoir session

This was a really lovely session! Cortneigh had never been professionally photographed before, and it was such a special day for her. She loved every moment of the day, and I felt so honored to get to be the first person to photograph her!

Cortneigh was really excited to do something for herself that would feel meaningful. She is someone who is always thinking of others and loving them well, so taking the time to do something for herself felt incredibly special to her. She wanted her portraits to feel authentic to her, to feel feminine with an undertone of strength, and to have a little bit of artistic, creative sexiness. She really brought a lot of enthusiasm, trust, and joy into the studio, and it was so fun to create these portraits with her!

Cortneigh’s boudoir portraits

Cortneigh brought a beautiful mix of wardrobe pieces to her session. She began the session wearing a light blue nightie that accentuated her waist. It felt really light, floaty, and romantic. Next, Cortneigh wore a textured sweater bodysuit -- it gave off these awesome cozy, sexy vibes! She paired it with knee-high socks. She also wore a bra and underwear set as well as a navy lace bodysuit. We ended her session with some implied and fine art nude portraits.

I love how confident and effortless this portrait feels! I also love the contrast between Cortneigh’s light blue outfit and the brick wall behind her.

This has such a cool, artistic vibe to it. Cortneigh loves her long hair and wanted to highlight it in pictures -- I love how the light catches it here.

This portrait is so full of confidence and self-love <3

Cortneigh is radiating such empowered vibes in this portrait!

With her hand in her hair and the light on her face, Cortneigh is absolutely basking in herself in this portrait.

Cortneigh, you were so so lovely to create these portraits with! You are such a kind, trusting, creative person, and I loved seeing how your personality shines in these portraits. Thank you for trusting me to photograph you -- it was so much fun and I hope we get to work together again someday!!
