Anonymous portraits from a soft, joyful boudoir session
I’m so excited to share a few anonymous pictures from a recent boudoir session. When this client booked her boudoir session, she said that she was coming into a time of her life that felt really good. She's been on a journey of learning to be herself unapologetically and is deeply enjoying the life she’s crafting for herself. She never wants to forget this time in her life, and she said that she wanted pictures that would “encapsulate her light” and the essence of who she is.
What she wore + some favorite portraits
My client was excited to create pictures that would feel soft, romantic, and joyful with an undertone of sensuality. She brought wardrobe pieces that felt really feminine and easy!
For her first outfit, my client paired a t-shirt with a pair of simple bottoms and cozy socks. It had a hanging-out-at-home, Saturday afternoon kind of vibe.
Next, she paired a dark emerald lace bra with pink lace bottoms. I love mismatched sets – they create a really casual and relaxed vibe!
For her next look, my client wore a beautiful lace bodysuit with geometric lines. It felt really special to her.
Near the end of the session, we finished the session with a topless look. My client wore black bottoms - she opted for some portraits that were “fine art topless” (the term I use for visible nipples) and other times opted for an ‘implied topless’ look, using her arms to cover her breasts.
Finally, my client chose to do an implied nude look with a sheet as well as some fine art nudes. She said that these ended up being some of her very favorite portraits from the session! She loved the artfulness and simplicity of these.
These two above pictures were just a moment apart, and yet they feel so different – together, they tell a story. I also love the way the light is wrapping around her in these portraits!
To my client – it was so lovely to work with you. I hope these portraits help you cherish this beautiful time in your life forever! I am so grateful our paths crossed and that we were able to work together!
