Skye’s romantic, confident, elegant boudoir session
Skye’s pictures turned out so FUN, and I’m so excited to share them with you today! From the moment she came into the studio, Skye’s energy was so, so lovely. She is really creative and was super open-minded about trying different poses and ideas throughout her boudoir session. The end result was portraits that feel confident, feminine, and stunning.
Skye planned to do this boudoir session before her upcoming wedding. She shared with me that she was hoping to create portraits that would feel romantic with a hint of sexiness -- and she was so excited for her boudoir session so that she could spend the whole day celebrating herself! After Skye’s portrait reveal, we designed a beautiful album of her boudoir portraits together so that she can bask in that celebratory energy for years to come.
Skye’s photoshoot day
Skye began her photoshoot day by meeting in my studio with one of my hair and makeup artists. She chose to have her long hair done in soft, flowing curls. For her makeup, Skye went with an elegant look that featured smokey brown eyeshadow and a nude lip.
For wardrobe, Skye brought along a couple of lace bodysuits, one in white (which felt super bridal!) and another in a light lilac. She also brought along two bra and bottom sets, one that was sheer white and another in a dark turquoise. Skye incorporated her bridal bouquet into some of her pictures and it added a lovely pop of color while giving a little nod to her upcoming wedding.
Skye, you were such a joy to work with! I love the fun, creative energy that you brought into the studio -- you were delightful to collaborate with. Thank you so much for trusting me with your boudoir portraits. I am so grateful that our paths crossed!
