If you’re considering wall art…
here’s how to plan for a piece of wall art in your home
If you think you'll be interested in wall art (or even if you’re not sure), snap a photo on your phone of your wall with a piece of printer paper on it, and text it to me sometime before your session day. I use this really awesome art software that will can help us see different sizes of wall art, to scale on your own walls. It’s a great tool to see how a picture will look on your wall and what size might fit the space best!
Here’s a couple tips for how to take this photo:
1. Wait for good natural light to take the photo. This will help our visualization to look more realistic.
2. Tape a piece of standard letter sized paper (8.5x11") to the wall, and then take the photo! That lets me calibrate the size of your wall in my software.
3. Get as far away as you can (include surrounding furniture, walls, floor, etc), and take the photo straight-on (as opposed to at an angle.)
4. Think of the places you may want your wall art (bedroom, living room, stairwell, walk-in closet, bathroom) and repeat these steps for all those walls.
5. Text your photos to me at 763-843-2541 (please include your name!) before your photoshoot day so I can have some designs ready for you.
