Empowering Boudoir Portraits in Minneapolis

Bria is an amazing woman - a social justice advocate, woman-changing-the-world kind of person, she spends her days empowering and lifting up others and needed some self-care and an opportunity to celebrate herself at this moment in time. I always love working with women to create empowering boudoir portraits - especially when they are planning a session as a gift for themselves!

Planning her Minneapolis Boudoir Portraits

Bria and I started this process by reflecting on what she wanted to capture in her portraits and how she wanted them to feel - she wanted her images to feel beautiful, strong, and celebratory. 

She brought along a wonderful mix of outfits: soft off-the-shoulder t-shifts that felt relaxed and effortless, a sheer lace top to bring in a bold pop of color, a stunning black lace slip, and an epic bodysuit with cream and black detailing. Having such a great variety of pieces brought in a lot of personality (from the cozy cotton shirts to her elegant, epic bodysuit).
