Elegant Minneapolis Bridal Boudoir Photography

I love getting to work with brides to plan out some bridal boudoir photography before their wedding. It's an incredible time in life and a great reason to book a boudoir session - most brides will gift the pictures to their partner as an engagement gift or a wedding-morning present.

I loved working with Charlotte on her bridal boudoir session! She wanted her images to feel beautiful and effortless and true to her personality and she brought along some stunning lace and silk chemises.

Why I love doing Minneapolis bridal boudoir photography

Boudoir portraits make incredible gifts- not only are you giving your fiance beautiful portraits of yourself, but this gift is a really meaningful way to express your love and intimacy and partnership. And in our digital world, a tangible gift of photographs is really rare and special. Giving your loved one a leather album or beautiful linen box full of your portraits is absolutely amazing.

Bridal boudoir is also a beautiful way to capture beautiful portraits of you with some of your wedding accessories: you can bring along your wedding veil and shoes or even your wedding dress, as well as any jewelry or lingerie that you're planning on wearing on your wedding day/night.

One often overlooked (but really meaningful!) aspect of bridal boudoir portraits is that these portraits also document a really meaningful time in your life - as you're preparing for a big life change, you can use these portraits to celebrate who you are right now and anticipate the joy and excitement of this next chapter of your life. While most brides who are planning a bridal boudoir session initially talk about it in the context of a gift to their partner, the women I do these sessions with usually realize that it's an equally significant gift to themselves.
