Anonymous portraits from “E’s” effortlessly romantic bridal boudoir session
Hello, friends! I’m so excited to share a few photos from “E’s” boudoir session with you today.
When “E” initially reached out to me, she said that she had been wanting to do a boudoir session for a long time. She shared that she is getting married soon and felt that doing a boudoir session would both be fun for her and a really lovely wedding gift for her fiancé.
I’d love to share a few words that “E” wrote after her session…
“This entire day was amazing! I hoped to get some sexy photos as a gift for my fiancé, but I ended up with a gift for myself. I absolutely loved it. I ended up upgrading my package because I wanted all my photos! It was an incredible experience overall. This was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I never expected to be on such a high afterwards.
“Alyssa was amazing! She made me feel so comfortable in the studio. I loved that she showed me exactly how to pose. During parts of the shoot, she gave options on what positions I could be in and I really appreciated that. It was awesome to see my photos the same day! I think that really added to the experience.
“I feel so empowered and beautiful after this session. It was so cool to see what I looked like from someone else's perspective. It gave me a major confidence boost.” -“E”
Ahh! Those words!! I love that “E” came in viewing the boudoir session as a gift largely for someone else and ended up falling in love with how the photos felt for her. No matter what motivation leads a client to book a session with me, my goal is always to create an experience and art that empowers them, lifts them up, and helps them feel and see their own beauty.
“E’s” boudoir style
When discussing how she wanted her photos to look and feel, “E” said that she wanted to be photographed in a mix of sexy and romantic styles. Her portraits ended up having a softness to them while also having an undercurrent of sensuality. They also ended up having a beautiful sense of inner strength -- they feel so special!
“E” brought along a mix of wardrobe items that felt really feminine as well as bridal -- there were lots of light, delicate-feeling textures and colors. Two of her boudoir looks were bodysuits, which I find clients really tend to love in pictures (they hug the body so beautifully)! “E” also chose to do a few portraits wrapped up a sheet as well as one fine art nude.
“E,” it was such a joy to create these portraits with you! I am so delighted that you ended up enjoying the experience and that you love your portraits (they turned out so amazing!). I love that your session ended up feeling like it was as much for you as for your fiancé -- how cool is that?! Thank you so much for trusting me with your boudoir experience!
