“A’s” soft, romantic, natural boudoir session
“A” reached out to me hoping to do a boudoir session to document a romantic, joyful season in her life. She’d never had professional pictures taken of her on her own, and she was so excited to dream up a photoshoot that’d be a new, special experience for her! She wanted her photos to feel soft, relaxed, romantic, and infused with a natural feminine vibe… and I really think that we nailed it!
“A’s” boudoir wardrobe
“A” brought along some really lovely wardrobe pieces! She started off the session by wearing a silky pajama set in a gray and white stripe. It felt really sweet, and it had a casual but polished vibe to it – very elegant and classic!
Next, “A” wore a silky cami and shorts set in a dusty teal color. “A” loves her blue eyes and how this set made her eyes pop! I think satin and silk fabrics always photograph so beautifully; the light in my studio plays off the fabric in such a gentle, warm way. We took a few pictures in front of my studio’s silhouette panel that ended up feeling really soulful!
“A” changed into a soft turquoise bra and bottoms set made out of eyelash lace, which felt really romantic. She ended the session with a white-on-white look, which felt perfectly tied into her upcoming wedding! It was a sheer, floaty white robe with a white bra and lace bottom set.
The color palette that “A” picked overall was super cohesive. Her wardrobe pieces all felt soft, natural, and elegant!
